My clinical interests are liberation psychology, decolonial psychology, disability justice and abolitionist mental health care.

What brought you into this field?

I came to this field from my own lived experience within queer, trans, neurodivergent, chronically ill and disabled communities with a desire to provide accessible, creative support and compassionate care.

Counseling style:

My therapeutic approach is collaborative and relational. I practice trauma-focused counseling within a liberation psychology framework, understanding people’s experiences within sociopolitical structures and historical contexts.

Modalities:

I practice bottom-up modalities such as parts work and somatics along with coherence and narrative therapies.

Specializations:

I work with individual adults and adolescents as well as adults in relationships. I specialize in trauma-focused, neurodiversity-affirming care for marginalized communities.

Past Experience:

I have been active in harm reduction and radical mental health for over a decade, with past experience at the Lower East Side Harm Reduction Center, Wildflower Alliance, and Triad Behavioral Health. I completed my graduate internship at Leaves of Change Counseling and have continued on as a clinician.
