I specialize in Trauma and prioritize creating a safe and inclusive space where you can feel comfortable discussing difficult memories. I also work as a medical social worker and am familiar with conversations related to chronic, acute and genetic diagnoses.

My work often involves supporting adolescents and young adults and will tailor our therapeutic relationship to meet your needs. I welcome individuals of all cultural backgrounds and gender identities.”

What brought you into this field?

While working at DCF I had a lovely supervisor who encouraged me to go back to school and shared the many opportunities a social work degree can provide. I was an integrated behavioral health clinician during my second yr internship and absolutely loved having the ability to connect with people, and the privilege of empowering them towards the goals they identified.

Counseling style:

I’m super laid back ! If you’re looking for a therapist who shows no emotion, that is not me. I always side with my clients but will challenge you when needed. I prioritize building a rapport and setting boundaries. Our sessions will always begin with a check in of your week and the rest will be tailored to what you need that day.
