What brought you into this field?

I know personally the positive impact therapy, and art therapy, can have on people and their communities. I enjoy being a part of people’s journeys as they find and create sparks of positive change and resilience in their lives.

Counseling style:

I use a person-centered approach to authentically meet people where they are without judgment. I offer space to process and move through discomfort while also creating room for skill-building, focusing on strengths, and having some laughs along the way. How can we use your strengths to overcome adversity while fostering empowerment and growth?

As a licensed art therapist, I also offer art therapy for those who are interested. Art Therapy is another way to process what we are going through when words are not enough. I am always here to let folks know you do not need to have experience with art in order to benefit from art therapy – it’s all about the process of art making and not the final product.
