What brought you into this field?

My own trauma recovery journey deeply influenced my decision to become a therapist. I still carry the compassionate voices of my past therapists and healers, whose guidance continues to resonate with me even after our work together ended. The therapeutic space allowed me to experience the profound impact of being truly seen and accepted in my most vulnerable moments. It is with deep gratitude and humility that I now offer this same space to my clients, honoring their unique journeys toward healing and self-discovery.

Counseling style:

I approach my clients as a fellow human being, walking alongside them as an ally rather than positioning myself as an expert. My goal is to help you carry what feels heavy, while also sharing in your moments of joy and growth.

Modalities:

My therapeutic approach is rooted in humanistic, attachment-based, feminist, and trauma-focused frameworks. I also integrate mindfulness-based and somatic practices, recognizing the importance of the mind-body connection in healing.

Specializations:

Developmental trauma, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, life transitions, adolescents, young adults

Education:

Emerson College; BS Communication Studies 2018
Lesley University; MA Clinical Mental Health Counseling 2024

Past Experience:

I bring over 10 years of caretaking and childcare experience into my counseling work, which has deeply informed my approach to empathy, patience, and understanding developmental needs—including with my own inner child! These experiences have shaped my ability to hold space for emotional expression, set compassionate boundaries, and support clients through critical stages of growth. During my clinical internship, I worked with teens in a high school setting, where I developed therapeutic strategies tailored to adolescents, focusing on identity formation, emotional regulation, and the unique challenges they encounter. This experience continues to inform my work with clients of all ages.

Trainings:

I specialized in Holistic Counseling at Lesley University, where my training focused on a multidimensional approach to therapy that addresses the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit. Through this program, I developed a deep understanding of how psychospiritual growth and socio-cultural awareness contribute to well-being and healing. I was trained to integrate psychological theory with an awareness of religious practices and spiritual beliefs, while also cultivating evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches. This holistic perspective now informs how I guide others toward achieving physical, emotional, and spiritual harmony.
